Creating this babydoll dress through flat patternmaking and pattern manipulation starting off with the basic block slopers. Sleeves had been adjusted from sloper to create a bell sleeve from the elbow down. The empire waist had been adjusted from the top sloper and adding a gathered channel at the bust. The dress had been made using combination of a medium weight powermesh, deadstock polyester blend knit and decorative lace.
