The Collection I wanted to create was to build upon the garments we made throughout the years of being in the fashion program. I wanted to update some of the patterns we made during the courses to create a new look that fits my style. With the jackets being updated from the blazer pattern drafted in advanced pattern making as well as the pants. The trousers were altered to a new custom size using a standard basic block. The corset pieces were drafted on the dress form and than transferred into a pattern to create the final garments. I wanted to make a collection that was timeless and simple with a dark wave vibe using metal hardware. The pieces are made ment to be expensive using only high quality material that is sourced by branded fabric suppliers. Notions and hardware soured are heavy duty and locally sourced.
